ANYONE UP??

IT IS 230 AM ON SATURDAY MORNING.... I CANT SLEEP!!!!SURE WANT TO... IF SOMEONE WAS UP I COULD START TALKING - THEN START YAWNING AND HOPEFULLY GO TO SLEEP..... GOSH - I BET YOU ALL ARE THINKING - STOP BLOGGING!!! BUT I HAVE SO MUCH TO SAY!!! GIVE ME A CALL IF YOU'RE UP!!

KATIE DID

Katie is a joy - she will be 16 in December..She is very much the big sister and she wants her siblings to conform to her ways..they do challenge her on that. She is going to be getting her drivers permit hopefully before school starts. We are taking our time and I'm glad.. She won't be able to get her license until she has had her permit for a year.. We are planning some fun things for her 16th birthday that she doesn't know about..She is a sweet girl and such a blessing to us.. Her main job this summer is babysitting Caleb and Carli and laundry.. Neither one of these is she very thrilled with but she will be getting a new phone for babysitting and a little cash to buy books with, which she can't seem to get enough of...Her most favorite in the world is her dog Crystal- a golden retriever- kind like Katie

CALEB CAL

Caleb is our hardest worker... He helps us so much we don't know if our household could operate without him.. I'm glad you're only 12 Caleb!! Caleb is an avid fisherman and will go anytime his dad will take him.. they have been gone most of the day at times and other times they go twice a day...i'll take him some but the wheather has to be cooler! Caleb has a kind heart and makes a friend very easily. His pet is Chloe his cat whom he adores and she adores him..

CARLI BEANS

Carli will be 10 in about 3 weeks..We will be going to Orlando and having Dinner with Cinderella and her mice friends...We are very excited about that.. Carli is a mommys girl and a daddys girl...She gives the greatest hugs..She will hug you and then give you a squeeze before she lets go.. She will be going into the 5th grade. Wow!! She LOVES to talk..talk...talk...talk!! We wouldn't have her any other way!She is intense in all that she does, She works hard, plays hard, talks like crazy - she is very smart and can be very knowledge in everything she says in a ten minute conversation..One night on the way home from church she gave us a whole medical explation of how and why the heart works.. very impressive - she can do that with many subjects!! Much to her dismay she doen't have a pet of her own yet... You never know..one day she might enter the pet world...

RINGWORM

WELL- THOUGHT I WOULD ADD A LITTLE MORE FUN TO MY FACE. A COUPLE OF WEEKS AGO I WAS SITTING OUTSIDE AND GOT BIT UP. ONE ON MY NECK AND ONE ON MY FACE.. WELL I ITCHED ITCHED ITCHED - RING WORM!!!!!! INFATACO? I HAVE THESE DISGUSTING RINGS ON MY NECK AND CHECK. I HAVE A SPECIAL VINEGAR FROM THE HEALTH STORE AND TANACTIN...IT IS DISGUSTING AND UNPLEASANT....

AN AMAZING $1,000

WOW!!! WE RAISED $1,000.00 AT OUR BAKE SALE TODAY AT WORK FOR THE 3 DAY WALK.. THE PEOPLE THAT WE WORK WITH ARE AMAZING AND ALWAYS HUNGARY!! WE ARE AT $14,000.00 OF OUR $15,000.00 GOAL!! THERE ARE 99 DAYS TO THE WALK. I HUNG A POSTER THAT WILL KEEP A COUNT OF THE DAYS. IT MADE SOME OF THE WALKERS NERVOUS... IT'S VERY EXCITING!!!

THUNDERING TANNEHILLS

Here we go round the chemo bush

One more time for pre-caution.....I can do it... I have a great Helper.....It comes down that we all have to trust God to be victorious!!! And I DO!! I'm very thankful that I will be able to keep my hair this go around...I had my first treatment on Friday, stomach burned like crazy for a couple of hours... Had diarrea Friday night. Was sitting at the computer, thought I would do a little toot - but instead I had company in my britches!! Woo Hoo...! I am learning to take things more serious when it comes to the backdoor...!!

Not so fun news...

Well, if you all haven't heard yet, we lost our baby. I had a miscarrage on Saturday. We don't know why, but what we do know is that God knows, and we know that He knows best. The dr. explained quite a few things to us that could make one miscarry, and we know that we wouldn't have wanted our baby to suffer any complications or birth defects that would have made it's life hard or short. Now, we all have someone new to meet in heaven! We know that God has a plan in all that happens...though that doesn't take away the pain. Love you all, and know that we are doing okay.

I had a Slumber party last night. We went to the zoo first, had dinner.

Erin Abby, Whit, Donna, and kaci, all stay all night.

Well, as you are all aware...#5 is on his/her way. I go to the dr. on Aug. 19th, I can't wait! We are so excited! Anne, we are doing just fine filling that nest I think! Ha! Ha! I wanted to share with those of you who couldn't come to the girl's dance recital some pictures. They did a wonderful job and were the most beautiful girls up there! It was so fun being with everyone this weekend, we really need to make an effort to not make it so long before we all get together...it just needs to be a priority! I don't know why it's so hard when we all have so much fun! Well, love you all and can't wait until the next b-day or wedding to see you all!

4TH OF JULY PICS

Summer 2008 update:

The summer is going so fast! Andrew will turn 13 in August. so hard to believe. But "teenage" is all over him! He is such a great kid. He's working 2 days a week this summer plus doing some chores for a neighbor. this fall he will go into the Youth Group. Yikes. Girls are lurking everywhere! Jack is 11 1/2 and is enjoying just hanging out this summer. Board games, Suduko, crossword puzzles, chess, etc. are his bag! Theo is 8 1/2 and our star athlete. He is playing soccer right now, but he loves it all. Being the youngest boy he is always up to "something" if you know what I mean! Simone is definitely the life of the party. Never a dull moment with that girl. She loves her brothers and torments them all at the same time. She can't wait for kindergarden to start....I hope they are as prepared as she is! Keep adding to the blog - this is fun!

4th of July Pool Party

Hi Everyone!
can you believe we are looking at the 4th of July? this summer has gone so fast. In a couple weeks the kids go to camp and a couple weeks after that we go on family vacation and then it's time for school to start! Wow! It was fun being together last night out at Grandma's, we hadn't done that for a while. Alot of news going on in the family these days. I forgot to tell you all we are adopting a set of twins! JUST JOKING!! Wouldn't you all croak? Makes me laugh to think about it! Now it's up to all you young couples to fill the nest.
I just redecorated our bedroom/bath and have some nice taupe/tan colored bath accessories if anybody is interested they can snag them at the 4th Pool Party!
Remember to bring meat for the grill and a side dish or desert. We will provide the drinks and paper products. It should be fun!
