Hey everyone! Married life has been treating us well. We are getting all situated in our apartment and learning new things about each other daily!! haha! I am currently in the process of jumping levels at work( more money, clients, and vacation)! currently an E1 will be a level 1 and they go up to 4, so that is very exciting! Kevin just photographed a wedding last weekend and he did amazing! He just loves photography and is so talented. We are excited to see everyone on the 4th!!!

Hi, I am at Nicoles using her computor because somethings wrong with my computor line. So if you want to let me know something that is going on your going to have to just call me. Debbie I'am so glad you gals got the shoes. It is so fun to here the progress. Hey everyone why isn't there alot going on in the blogg. Where is everyone? I also would have loved to see the biker guy go around collecting the money. That would have been a fun night. Wish we all could be there.. Post some pictures so we can see whats going on and who all is behind you there. How's the straight jacket going?
Nicholas in a previous blog you said you have a blog. I know Sam does how does a person find them. OK I know I am computor retarded but I maybe able to find it if you give me step by step instructions and I mean step by step. ha ha
I think you all know by now but Nicholas, Typh and the children are moving back to Indianola and are signing papers on a house on July 18th. Sam and Amanda set a wedding date for March. I am pregnant and due in April... ha ha

Since I didn't write for so long. I missed the father day blog. When I went to see Ronny and Carman, Ronnie was telling me when Ronnie and Kenny were in high school dad would take them fishing all the time. Dad would come over at the crack of dawn trying to wake them up. Ronnie said they played football the night before and wouldn't get out of bed. Ronnie started laughing said dad would get mad at them and say fine and leave but before he left he took $2.00 out of each of there billfolds for gas. Ronnie said everywhere dad went Ronnie went so he went hunting and fishing with dad all the time. Dad took him duck hunting, Ronnie said they were crawling on there bellys to a pond where ducks were everywhere and dad started shooting. Come to find out they were all tame ducks. Ronnie said they got out of there fast. I can't believe it's been 5 years.. Life just hasn't been the same has it. :( Anyway I know he's having fun. Wish we could just see a glimpse. Dan where are you? I haven't seen anything in the blog from you. Tell us a memory... We all need to get together soon. Maybe we could go to a park. Love you all.

A FUN NIGHT OF SHOPPING

THE TEAM WENT SHOPPING ON FRIDAY NIGHT AFTER WORK. WE WENT TO TAMPA AND WENT TO A NEW BALANCE STORE. THEY OFFER 15% OFF TO 3 DAY WALKERS. THEY WERE GREAT! THE GUY IN THE PICTURE WAS DAVID AND HE WAS AWESOME AND GAVE THEM LOTS OF TIPS FOR THE 3 DAY. I'M SURE HE GOT A NICE COMMISSION. THE TOTAL FOR 5 PAIRS OF SHOES AND 5 PACKS OF SOCKS WAS $624.00. WE WILL BE GOING SHOPPING AGAIN TO GET MORE SHOES ! WE TOOK SOME PICTURES WE WILL BE SENDING YOU! EVERYONE SAID A HUGE THANKS AGAIN!! FOR THE GARAGE SALE CASH!! THE GIRLS ARE MARLENA, CYNDI,LIZ,ROBIN,MARIA AND SALES GUY DAVID.LOVE DEBBIE

Good News!

Hey everyone! We wanted to let you all know that we have a lot of exciting things happening...I'm not pregnant! We just sold our house! We put the sign in the yard, and three days later a lady came, looked and offered! We are still in shock! We have been looking frantically for a house that will be big enough for us all. We think we might we might have found one in Norwalk! We are excited!
We also wanted everyone to be aware of the girl's dance recital coming up. It will be Saturday, July 28th at 6:00. It will be held at the Hoyt Sherman Place, 1515 Woodland Ave. here in Des Moines. It is free, but they ask for people to bring donations for the Agape Pregnancy Center. Some things that I have been told would be good to bring are things like; diapers, formula, bottles, cash, etc. Sara, Sophie and Bela have been working really hard and would be excited for you all to come if possible!
We hope things are going well for everyone! We love you all and thank God for such a WONDERFUL family!

Scrumptious Fruit Dip

Here is a recipe for fruit dip that is delicious!

Beat together 8 ounces of strawberry cream cheese and a jar of marshmallow cream. Fold in a regular size container of cool whip.

DELICIOUS!

Thoughts

Wow, I would have loved to see that blonde guy demanding money for the benefit!! Hahaha! Do any of you remember the way grandpa would put $5 of gas in his car at a time. Grandma used to call him the fiver or something like that!! Or how about how he would snap that recliner down every hour or so to go out to the kitchen for a snack? Saltines and milk, or whatever he could find! It is hard, isn't it?

Happy Father's Day

Yes, it was another hard Father's Day without Dad. I miss him terribly. I think of so many things that made Dad so special and unforgettable. He is such a part of everyone of us. I wish we could write it all down and have different stories at our fingertips. Dad and Mom were quite a team! We are so lucky to have parents like we do. They have touched all of our families in ways that could never be measured.

That is so exciting about the latest fund raiser! It is amazing the amount of support you are all receiving in such a short amount of time! What a blessing for everyone. Everyone has been touched by you Debbie in so many ways. You bring out gifts in people they probably didn't even realize they had! It is a gift for everyone to feel like they are a part of your fight and helping you and Steve in any way that we can individually and as a group. We all love you and Steve and want to be there for you every step of the way. Its hard to be so far apart from you while you are on this journey. We love you all!

Happy Fathers Day!

Wow, I sure miss Dad. I used to have such fun when mom and dad came down and spent a month... When mom and I would go to the store he would always ask for us to get a paper and of course 4/5 times we would forget that small task. We would walk in the door and he would come for his paper and he would get so upset we forget it and say can't you just do this one small thing or how could you forget it- thats what you went for.. i would always chuckle on the inside thinking i was getting scolded like a 3 year old!!! One time he was holding Carli outside in a lawn chair when she was almost 2 and she reached out and smacked him and he smacked her right back and she came running in the door say G"PA hit me and he was right behind her saying she hit me first!!!! Sure wish I could forget that paper one more time!!!! deb

ANOTHER GREAT SUCCESS

YESTERDAY AN ATTORNEY THAT I WORK WITH AND HIS BAND HELD A BENEFIT FOR OUR 3 DAY GROUP AND WE RAISED $ 1,082 DOLLARS IN 4.5 HOURS!!! THE MAJORITY OF THE TIME IT WAS JUST PEOPLE THAT WE KNEW FROM OUR OFFICE - ABOUT 300 CAME AND THEN THIS BIKER DUDE PULLED UP WITH HIS BLONDE BOMB SHELL OF A WIFE AND THEY GOT UP AND STARTED DANCING AND THEN HE TOOK THE BUCKET AND MADE EVERYONE PUT MONEY IN IT.. HE WAS SO TOUGH LOOKING NO ONE DARED MESSED WITH HIM.... IT WAS GREAT FUN!!! WE HAVE $12,000 NOW !! ANOTHER $3,000 TO GO!!! WE'RE PUMPED... LOVE DEB

THANKS FOR THE SHOES!!!

Thanks to all of you who worked so hard to raise the money for 10 pairs of shoes!!! When I called everyone to tell them the total they were so excited! I was taking my shower this morning and this THOUGHT came across my mind. I would like to do the walk next year!! and wouldn't it be fun for a bunch of you to come and walk it with me!!!!!!! (I would love to be able to hear your thoughts after just reading that) Anyways - that would be fun! This has been very fun and exciting for us down here to see how everyone is getting involved with us to help us reach our goal! THANKS AGAIN!!! Love, Debbie

Ready or Not!

Hello Everyone!

Ready or not here comes the Berry Garage Sale! First of many? Or maybe just first of only? Hopefully the weather will cooperate and we can rake in a bunch of money. Wouldn't that be great? See you all on thursday, friday or saturday!

I say at least part of the money goes to buying Debbie some new pants! :)
